Dr. Camille Vardy has joined Peninsula Integrative Medicine, bringing over 25 years of clinical experience in biochemistry, genomics and Functional Medicine, integrated with insights from her extensive training in Chinese Medicine.

She offers Zoom appointments for functional medicine. In addition, she offers in-office appointments for acupuncture and Chinese herbs. She is a specialist in sports medicine and pain management, having developed her own technique of manual therapy that is highly effective for realigning biomechanics and unwinding decades of progressively restricted movement.  

Dr. Vardy also provides genomic interpretation for those who wish to understand the blueprint of their individual nutritional needs and environmental sensitivities. This can be especially important for immune issues and oncology, and for enhancing longevity.

She has studied nutrition and biochemistry for 40 years and has taught medicine for over 20 years. Her specialties include immunology, endocrinology, neurochemistry and psychology, environmental illness and detoxification, oncology, orthopedics and sports medicine, internal medicine, genomics, and optimum aging.

She holds Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Five Branches University and continued her training at the Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, People’s Republic Of China. Her mentors include Kiiko Matsumoto and Jeffrey Yuen, a Doctor of Chinese Medicine who has a lineage spanning 88 generations.

Dr. Vardy trained in oncology and supportive cancer careat the Paracelsus Klinik in Lüstmuhle, Switzerland and in neurochemistry with the Carrick Institute. 

Dr. Vardy’s newest interest is exploring the integration of Functional Medicine and Chinese Medicine to bring innovative approaches to the treatment of Long-Haul Covid Symptoms / Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Combining herbal protocols from China with Functional Immunology has produced highly encouraging results and she welcomes telehealth patients for this condition.
