Dr. Daniel Rieders is a board-certified cardiologist and integrative medicine expert, with special interest in moving his patients from disease to health. Over the last decade, he has transformed his conventional practice with advanced training in functional medicine, integrative medicine, mindfulness-based approaches, and energy medicine.
Dr. Rieders has a degree from UC Santa Barbara in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and received his medical degree from University of Southern California. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at USC and then his cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fellowships at the UCLA-VA Medical Center. He has practiced for over 30 years in both private clinics and larger hospital settings. While in Los Angeles, he was a faculty member and leader for USC Cardiology.
A decade ago, Dr. Rieders became inspired to seek different approaches to medical care after completing a life-changing detoxification program housed in a yoga school in Florida. The program allowed him to fundamentally heal long-term health issues and sent him on a path to modernize and transform his own medical practice to help his patients.
Dr. Rieders has a passion for treating heart and vascular disease, chronic disease, obesity, fatigue, chronic pain, environmental toxicity, and men’s health. He utilizes a diverse toolbox and collaborates often with skilled complementary therapists.
