
Dr. Tyler Wuthmann is dedicated to empowering his patients by engaging in a collaborative, shared decision-making process. He wants his patients to feel informed and confident in the choices they make about their healthcare, and he believes the best outcomes are achieved when he works in partnership with his patients to provide evidence-based integrative medicine recommendations, lifestyle changes, and preventative medicine strategies. He is fulfilled when his patients feel empowered and are able to optimize their wellness and reach their health goals.
Dr. Wuthmann attended Bastyr Medical School and completed a highly competitive residency in integrative family medicine at Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle, Washington. Throughout his medical education and training, Dr. Wuthmann has gained experience working in both community and hospital-based medicine practices, and he is eager to continue providing care to patients in the Bay Area. In addition to working at Peninsula Integrative, Dr. Wuthmann is also serving as an adjunct professor at Bastyr Medical School, where he continues to share his knowledge and inspire future generations of healthcare providers.
Dr. Wuthmann’s clinical interests are diverse and include medication/supplement management, LGBTQ+ Health, functional medicine, gastrointestinal health, integrative mental health, hormone optimization, and preventive cardiology. He has a particular interest in working with male patients and helping them navigate the unique health challenges they face throughout different stages of life. This includes topics such as blood sugar regulation, neurotransmitter support, testosterone optimization, weight management, improved sleep, and overall metabolic health.
In his free time, Dr. Wuthmann enjoys exploring the world with his partner, who works in the tech industry in the Bay Area. He is also an avid skier, hiker, CrossFit enthusiast, and sun-seeker who loves to stay active and enjoy the great outdoors.
