Dr. Rebecca Green has a passion for helping her patients improve their health and is the founder of Peninsula Integrative Medicine. She feels that quality medical care is better provided in a calm, supportive atmosphere with medical providers who can spend the time necessary with you to fully understand and resolve your health concerns. The desire to create a comfortable healing space for her patients, as well as collaborate with an exceptional team of providers, was the inspiration to open Peninsula Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Green has been studying integrative medicine for over 15 years and specializes in functional medicine approaches to fertility, hormone imbalances (menopause, PMS, PSCOS), gastroenterology (IBS, SIBO, IBD), and thyroid disease. She also uses a blend of Eastern and Western medicine that includes lifestyle coaching, herbs, targeted supplements, mind-body techniques, and nutrition, tailored to the individual needs of her patient.
She received her clinical training from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) and graduated from their six-year dual degree program with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine (ND) and a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM). In addition to her formal schooling, she has studied extensively with leaders in functional medicine, fertility, anti-aging therapies, and hormone support.
Dr. Green sees her patients for consultative visits exclusively via telemedicine and works closely with other providers at the Peninsula Integrative office for physical exams, injection therapies, and acupuncture. She is accepting new patients in May 2023 and recommending that patients book directly with Dr. Tyler Wuthmann or Dr. Morgan Schuster if they need to be seen prior to May.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Green enjoys time outdoors with her family in the Seattle area. She and her husband can be found mountain biking, hiking, skiing, looking for good restaurants, and running after their two adventurous little boys.
