Kasey Phillips, Operations Manager
Kasey joined Peninsula Integrative Medicine as a Patient Care Coordinator in April 2024 and quickly became an integral part of the administrative team. She served as Interim Office Manager from February through August 2025 while going through breast cancer treatment. She officially stepped into the role of Office Manager in August 2025 and was promoted to Operations Manager in September 2026. Her time at PIM has given her a unique perspective on the patient experience, from both the front lines of patient care and the operational side of the practice.
Kasey’s path to healthcare has been anything but conventional. Before joining PIM, she practiced law and later spent more than a decade in the fitness and wellness field as a personal trainer and business owner. Along the way, she became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, developing a deeper interest in the ways nutrition, lifestyle, and underlying health patterns can influence how we feel and function. Her own experiences navigating the healthcare system also shaped her belief that patients deserve to be listened to, acknowledged, and treated as individuals rather than reduced to a diagnosis, symptom, or lab value.
Kasey brings together the strategic and analytical thinking she developed through her legal career with the relationship-building skills she developed through years of working one-on-one with clients. She works closely with patients throughout their PIM experience, from welcoming new patients and helping them find the right provider to navigating questions, concerns, and the administrative details of their care. She especially enjoys new patient intakes because they offer an opportunity to make someone feel welcomed and supported from their very first interaction with PIM.
Behind the scenes, Kasey is focused on building the systems, processes, and team culture that allow clinicians to focus on what they do best: caring for patients. She is passionate about developing a strong, collaborative care team in which doctors, medical assistants, patient care coordinators, and administrative staff all understand their role in creating an exceptional patient experience. She believes that excellent service requires both compassion and boundaries, and she works to empower the PIM team with the knowledge, skills, and systems they need to do their jobs well.
At the heart of Kasey’s approach is her belief that healthcare should be a collaborative experience, not a constant argument or a need to aggressively advocate for your own wellness. We are each unique, and our care should reflect that.
