The injections use a very small needle and treat nerves superficially without suppressive drugs, like cortisone, which can further damage the surrounding tissues. We treat places where nerves exit the fascia and are subject to irritation and create pain signals. Perineural injections stop pain signals by proving irritated nerves with the nourishment to repolarize and heal.
